Las normas para repetir los exámenes son las siguientes:
- Los candidatos que reprueben un examen de Asociado, Profesional o Especialista deberán esperar un período de cinco (5) días calendario, a partir del día siguiente al intento fallido, antes de poder volver a presentarse al mismo examen.
- Los candidatos que no aprueben la certificación Cisco Certified Internetwork Experts (CCIE) o el examen escrito Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) deberán esperar un período de 15 días naturales, a partir del día siguiente al intento fallido, antes de volver a presentarse al mismo examen.
- Una vez aprobado, el candidato debe esperar un mínimo de 180 días antes de poder presentarse al mismo examen con el mismo número de examen.
- Los candidatos que infrinjan estas políticas estarán incumpliendo el acuerdo. Dicha conducta está estrictamente prohibida, tal como se describe en el acuerdo de certificación y confidencialidad de Cisco. .
